Beyond the Food · July 31 – August 1
More to Do.
Chef demos and battles, a hoecake hoedown, hands-on family zones, a kids playground, and live music all weekend. Everything's included.

Kroger Kitchen Stage
Live chef demonstrations hosted by Food Network star Jason Smith, with Kroger's Chris Blandford leading conversations with chefs, distillers, and food personalities between acts. Expect cocktail spotlights, a Friday happy hour, the Lexington Burger Week Burger Battle, and so much more.

Ouita Michel's Hoecake Hoedown
Saturday kicks off by honoring a particularly Kentucky tradition. Sign up the kiddos to learn all about the hoecake with local chef Ouita Michel and friends — a lively culinary celebration of Appalachian culture and the griddle cakes made famous in Lexington.
Presented by Weisenberger Mills

Live Green Lexington
Hands-on, family-friendly activities all weekend long. One of the things that makes CRAVE special is that it truly welcomes everyone — there's plenty for families to discover.

Adventure Playground & Water Play
Tucked into the heart of Gatton Park, the half-acre Adventure Playground invites kids to climb, slide, splash, and create adventures of their own — a 27-foot slide, hillside climber, log jam balance course, and the iconic Grist Mill Tower. The adjacent Water Play Area offers a welcome escape from the summer heat. Fully ADA-accessible.

Live Music All Weekend
Two full days of local and regional acts — from funk and soul to folk, blues, and Americana. All included with admission.
